I am reading a book called Inkdeath. It is the third book in the series. the first book is called Inkheart and the second is called Inkspell. The books are about A father called Mortimer (Mo) who has a daughter called Meggie. When they read aloud, they get sucked into the book and whatever they write and then read aloud, actually happens. Mo, Meggie and their friend, the eccentric firedancer, Dustfinger break into Capricorn’s (the bad guy) castle to rescue Meggie’s mother, Resa. meggie also meets a boy called Farid who she falls in love with. In the end of Inkspell, Basta, one of Capricorn’s men, kills Farid. Dustfinger, who had grown exceptionally close to Farid, sacrificed himself to the white women in exchange for Farid. In inkdeath, Farid works for Orpheus, one of the only men who can write and read words that can come alive. Farid does this in hope that in return, orpheus would write words that would bring Dustfinger back, little does he know what Orpheus needs to give in return..

I think that this book (and the whole series) is really good because it is very well written and definitely a page turner. I recommend it to people who like fantasy and mostly girls. 

There are many festivals that the Dutch celebrate. One of them is Sinterklass, the dutch version of christmas, where Sint and his zwarte piets come and give the children candies and presents in their show beside the fire place. Also, there is Sint Martin. Sint Martin is the dutch version of halloween where children go from house to house with lanterns and sing songs to get candy. 

Welcome to Holland

I will first tell you about Amsterdam. Amsterdam is a busy city with many places to visit. One of these attractions is ‘Nemo’ the science museum. It has a lot of things that you can learn from but also touch. Then there is ‘Artis’ one of the biggest zoos in Europe. With a variety of different animals from all over the globe, it makes it one of the most popular places in Amsterdam. For art and history fans, there are many art museums in Amsterdam featuring paintings and other such work by famous artists such as Rembrandt and Van Gogh. Also there is Madame Tussauds wax factory which displays many life like people who have played an important role in history. You may also want to take a scenic canal cruise through Amsterdam to witness various attractions that has made Amsterdam a world wide tourist destination.

Hello my name is Saskia!!!

Firstly, i’ll tell you about my cats. The youngest is called monty and his mom is called Marbles and another non-relative cat that we brought from Africa is called Moussbi. Moussbi is very viscous but the other ones are nice. I also have a pet leopard gecko called Cleo. My favorite colors are the sea colors (blue, turqouise and green) and i have two brothers, Roland and Felix. Felix is 6 years old and Roland is 9 years old. I’m not going to write much about them because there lives are sort of boring…(lego, lego and more lego). I am from Canada, Toronto but i moved to Senegal, Africa when i was five years old. i met my best friend in Senegal. Shes called Rachel and shes from the US, Texas. Then, i moved to Netherlands in Hilversum.
